I am a technical recruiter working with a boutique trading firm in the Chicagoland area that is in dire need of a Senior C++ Developer. Below is the job description and qualifications:

Senior C++ Developer:

The ideal candidate will be excited to be part of a small development team putting out extremely low latent applications for a new trading firm. The C++ team will be focused on building, testing, analyzing, and deploying in house server side applications.

The low latency developer will be a core part of the development team and will have a great deal of input in company systems. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with speaking up and leading the design of a sophisticated trading system.

Qualifications:
- 5 years experience in finance.
- Experience with at least one exchange protocol is essential.
- Strong OO design skills are required.
- Strong Multithreading and socket programming skills.
- Strong familiarity with Design Patterns.
- Ability to independently identify and work on performance issues is required.
- Familiarity with Agile and TDD is a plus.
